Happy September!

The Art in the Pearl show opens this weekend in Portland, OR. I’ll set up today, then we’ll be open Saturday, September 2 through Monday September 4. Hours are 10-6 Saturday and Sunday and 10-5 on Monday.

This is my first year doing this show and I’m looking forward to it!

There will be over 100 artists in a wide variety of media–from painting to photography, jewelry to ceramics, glass, metal, and of course, decorative fiber. These artists are the top in their field from all over the country–it’s a very competitive show to get into and I’m delighted to be part of it.

The show takes place in the North Park area of the Pearl District in Portland. I will be in Booth SO65 on NW 8th Ave and I’d love to see you if you’re in the area. Admission is free.

I’ll have some of my favorite pieces on exhibit, including Wildflower Honey, the detail above.

Also Uneven Bars below.

And some smaller works on canvas, including Salimugundi, which is 16″ x 20″

and Celery Seed, which is 8″ square.

And if you’re not in the Portland area this weekend, I’m having an End of Summer Special–free shipping on everything in my online shop, no matter what size it is! Maybe you’ve been thinking about getting a signed copy of my book, Artful Improv, for yourself or a quilting friend. Or maybe you’ve been looking at one of the quilts–free shipping applies to everything until September 15, 2017.

Thanks for reading and wherever you are, I hope you enjoy your Labor Day weekend!
