“City Streets” in Process; Craftboston This Weekend!
I’ve been working on a new idea in preparation for the Craftboston Spring show this weekend–here’s a sneak peak of City Streets in process.
City Streets will be a triptych of three pieces mounted on 20″ x 20″ canvas. The composition and the quilting will flow from one to the
other. It’s based on a earlier piece, Abstract Skyline below.
This piece is large, measuring 24″ h x 55″ wide, and it’s a bit of a challenge to transport to shows. So I’ve updated it with some new colors and divided it into three pieces. I’m racing to get it finished by the time I have to leave for Boston. We’ll see how it goes!
The Craftboston Spring show is being held in a new space this year–the Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts, located at 539 Tremont St in Boston. Hours are Friday, April 4 10 AM – 7 PM, Saturday April 5 10 AM – 6 PM and Sunday April 6 11 AM – 5 PM. I’ll be in Booth 413 and I’d love to see you there!
