Gift Idea – New “Inside Out” Eyeglass Cases
I’ve been busy in the studio getting ready for my next two shows. I always like to have something “new” so I came up with these neat eyeglass cases. I call them “inside out” because initially I was going to make them with the patterned side out, but when I made the first one using a plain solid on the back, the texture from the quilting stitches jumped out so much on the back I decided to make it the front!
These cases are on display for sale at the Reston Museum Holiday Art Show and Sale, going on through January. The museum is located in the Lake Anne Plaza in Reston, VA. Hours are 12-5 Tuesday-Friday and Sunday, 10-5 on Saturday, closed Monday.
I’ll have more cases, plus other great gift ideas–colorful pillows, journal covers, coasters and “date night” purses at the Three Days with the Artists show this weekend in Great Falls and the Great Falls Studios Holiday Sale next weekend, Dec. 8-9 at the Village Green Day School on Walker Road in Great Falls.
Happy Holidays and I hope to see you soon!
