Shades of Autumn seemed like the perfect piece to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
This season I’m so thankful for all of you who read my blog and newsletter, come to my shows, buy my work, and support me in so many ways. People ask me sometimes if it’s hard to set up a booth and do a show, especially if I have to travel a distance to do it. My response is that it’s so energizing to meet new people and talk about art that I’m having a good time–it gives me a lot of joy to share my work with others.
Thanksgiving is maybe my favorite holiday–best wishes to all for an enjoyable, relaxing day with family and friends tomorrow–my two sons are coming home and we’re looking forward to a small family celebration here at home.
After the turkey is cooked and eaten, I’ll be hard at work on some new pieces for the shows I have coming up in December–3 Days with the Artists at Hidden Springs Farm in Great Falls, VA December 6-8 and the Great Falls Studios Holiday Show and Sale in a NEW LOCATION at the Center for Education at Wolf Trap, 1645 Trap Rd., Vienna, VA on December 14-15.
