Jolly Holly is a square, canvas-mounted art quilt with a improvisational design of squares and rectangles in different shades of green, highlighted with skinny red lines and a pop of purple. Vertical wavy stitching lines add texture to the composition.

Mounted on painted black canvas with a wire on the back for easy hanging.

I create all my work in my home studio overlooking a lake in Reston, VA. Each wall hanging is quilted individually on my sewing machine. The designs are stitched freehand, with no computer program and no marking ahead of time–just me using the machine’s needle and thread to draw out the designs in my head.

Care: Avoid hanging in direct sunlight. To remove dust, brush lightly with a lint roller.
