Fire and Ice Cindy Grisdela 2008
I have five pieces at the new Great Falls Studios All Media Exhibit at the Life With Cancer Center in Fairfax, including Fire and Ice, at left. The exhibit showcases 19 Great Falls Studios artists in a variety of media, including paintings, photography, sculpture and fiber. We’re having an opening reception this Wednesday, November 10 from 7-9 PM. Come see the art, chat with the artists, enjoy light refreshments and tour the beautiful new Life with Cancer facility. This facility is unique because it offers support, education, classes, counseling and other services to cancer patients and their families at no cost to them. It’s a warm, welcoming space open to anyone who has been affected by cancer in their lives. A portion of the proceeds from any art sales from this show will be donated to the Center to help further their mission.
The show runs through December 31, 2010.
