I’m pleased to announce that my work is now represented by Chasen Galleries in Richmond, VA. Chasen is a beautiful fine art gallery with a wide variety of art, from paintings to sculpture to glass, and now textile art! They have five of my pieces, including one of my favorite new works from 2010, Red Totem, at left.
It’s very exciting to have my work chosen for representation at Chasen. One of my goals for 2010 was to explore the idea of getting gallery representation–I had no expectation it would actually happen!
Some of the other pieces that you’ll see at Chasen are Square Dance below, and Aztec Autumn at right.
Although I don’t think my images are up on their website yet, you can click on the link above to find more information about the gallery. And if you’re in the Richmond area, be sure and stop by! It’s one of the most welcoming galleries I’ve ever been in, which is one of the reasons I’m so glad to have my work there. There’s no pressure, just stop in and chat with Andrew Chasen about art–it’s a great way to spend an hour or so! Of course, if you’d like to buy something, he’ll be more than happy to help you with that too.
