It’s Day Seven of the blog tour for my new book, Artful Improv: Explore Color Recipes, Building Blocks & Free Motion Quilting. Today’s featured blogger is Teri Lucas at Generation Q magazine.
I’ve been a fan of Generation Q for a while, and I’m thrilled that Teri is part of the tour! I love this statement on the GenQ site: “Before anything else we do, we are a community of modern and contemporary quilters and sewists who love to create, who welcome new ideas and styles while respecting what’s come before, and who enjoy creative expression in all forms.” That just about sums it up! If you’re not familiar with GenQ, take a minute to check it out.
Teri has a little bit of a different take on the book, so if you head over to http://generationqmagazine.com/now-touring-artful-improv-by-cindy-grisdela/ you can read about it and post a comment about something you experimented with in your quilting. You’ll be entered into a giveaway for a chance to win a copy of Artful Improv.
Tomorrow is the last day of the Tour–I’ll wrap it up with some thoughts about how the book came to be and what I hope you’ll get out of it. The giveaway winners will be chosen after the Tour closes, so if you haven’t had a chance to get to all the blogs on the tour, there’s still time to enter and win! You need to comment to be entered–C&T Publishing is generously donating a copy of the book to the winner on each blog. US winners will receive a hard copy, and international winners will get the eBook.
I’m very grateful to these talented artists who are participating in the Tour and helping me get the word out about my new book!
