UPDATE: My Alaska cruise in 2021 has been cancelled due to Covid-19. Hopefully we’ll be able to reschedule at a later date.
I’m thrilled to announce I’ll be teaching on a Quilting Cruise to Alaska in 2021!
The dates are August 14-21, 2021. We’ll leave out of Seattle, WA and cruise up the Inside Passage to Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan, then back to Victoria, BC and Seattle. There will be four quilting days with me, and time in the evenings to work on your own, plus amazing scenery and stops at fascinating places.
I’m super excited–I’ve been to Alaska a number of times, and it’s one of my favorite places–I can’t wait to share it with you!

I’m working on a new project just for this cruise. We’ll explore improv log cabin style blocks, improv curved blocks (they’re not at all scary the way I do them!), angled stripes and more. It will be a twin size quilt or a large wall hanging, so there will be plenty of sewing to do when we’re not out exploring the wonders of Alaska. And you’ll likely have a choice between making a quilt just like my project, or doing your own improv creation. Kits will be provided.
The project will use elements of some of my favorite quilts like these below:
I hope you’ll consider joining us–there are monthly payment plans available!
