I’m busy this week getting ready for the Annapolis Arts & Crafts Festival this weekend, Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12, in Annapolis, MD. I’ll be in booth B-17 and I’d love to see you if you have a change to stop by!
I’m going to have pieces from my “Abstract Color” series on display, including “Regatta” at right–one of my favorites! These pieces use solid colors and interesting texture in the quilted lines to create contemporary graphic designs that make an impact as art for the wall. I’ll also have
brightly colored pillows like the one at right that would be perfect for a gift or to add a splash of color to any room in your home or office.
The show runs from 10 AM – 6 PM on Saturday and 10 AM – 5 PM on Sunday at the Navy – Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. There will be 150 artists and artisans, music, food and activities for all ages. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and kids 12-18 and free for kids under 12. Parking is free. Visit the festival website for directions and more information.
Annapolis itself is a charming city, well known for its colonial history, sailing culture and downtown shopping. Come and make a day of it!
