I’m packing up to go to the State Street Area Art Fair in Ann Arbor, MI, which starts this Wednesday, July 18.
There is always so much to do to get ready for a show–besides getting the work created! I’ve been making lists upon lists–but I think it’s all ready to go now. There was a little bit of drama about getting the tent and the screens and the work and me all into the car, but we worked it out. I think I need to make a diagram so I know where everything goes!
At left are some of the pillows I’ll have at the show, and at right is my newest wall hanging, Improvisations, which is packed up and ready to go as well.
The show runs through Saturday, July 21. Hours are 10 AM – 9 PM Wednesday through Friday and 10 AM – 5 PM on Saturday. This is my first time at this show and I’m looking forward to it–my friends in Michigan say it’s one of the best!
I’ll be in Booth B433 on Maynard St., so if you’re in the area, please stop by and say hello–I’d love to see you!
