My booth is all set up and ready to go for the ACC Baltimore show this weekend!
Setting up is always a challenge–what to bring, what to hang where–and there’s always the unexpected. This time it was a very large electrical junction box of some kind right in the center back wall of my booth. My puzzle piece flooring wouldn’t cover it, and every time I looked at the back wall all I could see was that junction box, not my work. Fortunately I was able to rent a
suitable carpet covering for the show that solved the problem nicely!
Walking around during setup was such a treat–there are so many talented artists at this show! If you’re looking for something different to do this weekend, I’d highly recommend making the trip to Baltimore. The show runs from tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 22
through Sunday, Feb. 24 at the Baltimore Convention Center at One West Pratt St.–it’s right off the highway from Northern Virginia, so it’s easy to get to. Hours are 10-8 Friday, 10-6 Saturday, and 11-5 Sunday.
Here’s a quick shot of the new runners I have for the show–lots of color and texture! Two are hanging on the wall in the lower picture and the others are hanging over one of the shelves.
I’m really excited with these. They can be used as table runners or hung on the wall, and cleaning them isn’t a problem–they wash really well. I made one for myself and tested it.
I’m in Booth 3505 and I’d love to see you there!
