My booth is all set up and ready to go for the American Craft Council show in Baltimore.
Setup day is always interesting. You pack the car, drive to the venue, wait in line until it’s your turn to unload, unpack the car and pile everything in your space, drive the car to a parking space, walk back and dive in to recreating your world in a 10″ x 10″ booth!
It’s fun to be behind the scenes and see an exhibit venue transformed from bare concrete to an amazing collection of creativity. The booth fee at this show entitles you to a 10″ x 10″ square of space and a booth sign with your name on it. The rest is up to you!
The Baltimore show is one of the biggest in the country with about 650 artists. It’s an experience not to be missed if you’ve never seen it. I had a chance to take a quick walk through today and even though many people weren’t finished with setup, it looks like an amazing show.
The show runs from Friday, February 21 (that’s tomorrow) through Sunday, February 23. The location is One West Pratt St. in Baltimore and the hours are 10-8 Friday, 10-6 Saturday, and 11-5 Sunday. Click here to get an online discount on tickets. You can also get in for $5 after 5 pm on Friday.
I have some new pieces created especially for this show, so stop by Booth 4219 and have a look! I’d love to see you.
Your booth looks beautiful!! Good luck with the show. Love you!
