I’d like to invite you to take a peek into my virtual show booth!
I’m participating in the Downtown Festival & Art Show this weekend–it’s normally held in my hometown of Gainesville, FL, but has gone virtual this year. I’ve had a booth at this show for the last five or six years and I always enjoy it, so I decided to give the virtual version a try this year.
The way it works is this. All the artists, including me, set up a physical booth wherever they choose. In my case, my booth is actually in my studio. Visitors can chat with the artists via videochat in the platform (link above) and see the booth setup. If someone sees a piece of art they’d like to purchase, they go to the artist’s website, buy the work, and the artist ships it to them.
