I’m excited to participate in the Quilter’s Color Mixer online event hosted by Creative Spark Online Learning on February 3, 2024 at 10 AM Pacific, 1 PM Eastern. It’s a live, virtual event including 8 other artists and teachers, plus a keynote address by Jen Kingwell.
Choosing colors for your quilt can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, but we’ve got you covered at this event. You’ll learn about color theory, the history of color, creating custom color palettes for your quilts, stash-busting techniques, ombré designs, designing with prints, and so much more! Each artist will present a mini masterclass on their color ideas and you can choose which ones you want to hear. I’m going to be talking about 4 different ways you can be inspired by color for your quilts–one of them is sure to resonate with you!
