I’m pleased to announce my new solo show at the Reston Art Gallery & Studios in Reston, VA. The show is called Textile Paintings and it showcases 18 of my abstract wall quilts in a variety of sizes and colors.
The quilts range from larger statement pieces to smaller works that are mounted on canvas and hang on the wall like a painting. Some could even stand on a bookcase or shelf if wall space is at a premium.
The show runs through August 31, 2025 and the gallery is open Saturdays from 10 AM – 5 PM and Sundays Noon – 5 PM, or by appointment. There will be a free reception with light refreshments on Sunday August 10 from 2 -4 PM if you’re in the DC Metro area. The gallery is located at 11400 Wasington Plaza W #B in Lake Anne Plaza, Reston, VA.

Of all the workshops I have ever taken in my 50+ years of quilting, yours is one of the few that resulted in a finished wall hanging, and it is my husband’s favorite quilt, too!
