I’m thrilled to announce the opening of my solo show at the Crossroads Gallery at Goodwin House in Falls Church, VA.

There will be an opening reception at the gallery on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 2-4 PM, featuring light refreshments, a short talk about my work, and a question and answer session.

“Confetti Squares” and “Aztec Autumn” at my solo show at the Crossroads Gallery – Cindy Grisdela 2017

The show includes 30 wall quilts and runs until September 6, 2017. The Crossroads Gallery is located at Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads, 3440 S. Jefferson Rd., Falls Church, VA. It’s open daily from 9 AM – 6 PM on the first floor.

Anthony Brock, the gallery director, saw my work at the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival last May, where he was one of the show judges. After the show, he offered me the opportunity to put this exhibit up in his gallery, and I was pleased to accept!

The gallery is a beautiful space with an open layout and great lighting, so you can really see the texture of my stitching lines and get a sense of how much fiber art warms the walls.

If you have a chance to come to the reception, I’d love to chat with you. If not, I hope you’ll have time this summer to stop by and see the exhibit.
