I’m excited to announce I’ll be participating in the American Craft Council’s Baltimore Craft Week April 12-18, 2021.

I’ve shown my work at the Baltimore Craft Show in person for a number of years, and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to do this virtual event.

There are 150 artists participating this year–each of us is set up on an online portal for easy viewing of the artwork. You can see my page at https://shop.craftcouncil.org/collections/cindy-grisdela-art-quilts

Each artist has 15 images available, and you can search by type of art, by price point, or by artist. When you see something you like, just click on it to get more information and to purchase from the centralized shopping portal. Shipping on all my work is free, and the work will be shipped directly to you from my studio.

Many artists have video content of their studio or their process that enhances the experience.

I have a variety of wall quilts available, from my statement piece Fireworks, pictured below, to smaller works that can even stand on a bookcase if space is at a premium.

Blue Streak is one of a series of 8″ x 8″ squares that are small enough to brighten any space, or even sit on a shelf–I call these “quiltlets”.

It’s mounted on painted black canvas with a wire on the back so it’s super easy to hang.

And I have some brand new work that’s never been shown before, including Color Vortex, below.

This is a free hanging wall quilt that measures about 24″ w x 48″ h. I created some scrappy Improv blocks and set them with whirling skinny white lines on a gray background. The stitching is irregularly spaced vertical lines using a variegated gray thread to add texture and tie everything together.

I hope you’ll take a look at the Baltimore Craft Week website and explore the wonderful works of art shared there! I’m thrilled to be part of this exciting event.

If you have questions, feel free to send me an email at cindy@cindygrisdela quilts–I’d love to hear from you!
