The Great Falls Studios Spring Art Fest is this weekend–Saturday May 5 and Sunday May 6. I’ll be at my studio at the Artists’ Atelier, located at 756 Walker Road, Great Falls, VA right in the Village Center.
Hours are 10-5 both days.
I’m excited to show my new “Confetti” quilt for the first time! I wrote about the process of creating it here if you’re interested in learning more about it.
In addition to the wall art, I’ll also have my popular scarves, printed from photos of my original quilt designs, at the show–just in time for Mother’s Day.
There are five different scarves–the two pictured are Crayons on the left and Fire and Ice on the right.
These scarves are a generous size and very light–perfect for packing. They are made of a modal fabric and can be wrapped many different ways as a scarf, as well as around the shoulders as a light wrap in cool weather.
I expect to also have some of my colorful pillows to share, as well as notecards and signed copies of my book, Artful Improv.
The show is being held in multiple locations–the Atelier and the Artist’s Loft in the Village Green, and the community Grange a few blocks away. Get more details about the other participating artists by visiting the Great Falls Studios website here.
We hope to see you at the show!
Love your quilts and techniques! Just enjoyed seeing you on Quilting Arts, and you do what I would like to do! Thank you for being such and interesting quilter! Sorry I didn’t know of you when I was at Road to California last January! Hope you will get back there! Thanks!
Thanks for your kind words about my work, Starr–I hope to be back at Road too!
