I’m pleased to announce that both of my quilts have been juried in to the World of Beauty quilt competition at the Houston Quilt Festival in October!
I’ll also be teaching five classes, giving a lecture, and participating in the Friday Sampler at the event. Online enrollment is NEW this year, and will open on Monday, July 15, 2019 at around 10 AM. Here is the link to sign up.
The two quilts that were accepted are Confetti--the featured image on this post–and Aquarius, below.
These are two of my favorite quilts from the last year, and I’m thrilled that they will be displayed at Houston! It’s an honor to have both of the quilts I entered be accepted, because the competition is stiff. I’m happy that so many of my friends had their work accepted too. It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful show.
You can read more about Confetti and its creation here and here.
And you can read about Aquarius here and here.
